A powerful program designed by a woman for women. It addresses the safety challenges all females face in their daily lives and strives to instill confidence by empowering girls of all ages. With basic self defense exercises and common sense responses to threatening situations, these nationwide workshops teach skills such as approach techniques and verbal commands designed to keep females safe!
Cost: FREE, however they accept cash donations of any size!
100% OF DONATIONS ARE GIVEN DIRECTLY TO THE LOCAL HELP AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE (HER) SHELTER.
The purpose of Help and Emergency Response, Inc. is to provide shelter and to engage in dedicated efforts to eliminate domestic violence.
