LYF Foundation’s mission is to increase the awareness of domestic violence in the community. Our main focus is to empower young females by providing education on dating violence, body image, health awareness, career development and the significance of loving oneself. LYF stands for Loving Yourself First. Our primary goal is to engage teens in activities that deter them from negative behavior. We want to teach the importance of education and self-respect while encouraging them to become self-sufficient adults.
Dating abuse is becoming more prevalent and in most cases it starts in teenage years. If we get the word out that violence is not okay, then we may be able to change one life or maybe even several. This is a positive movement and this is what our society needs.
